The staff at Holden with input from parents believe that all stakeholders make a difference every day in the lives of students and each other. We work together each day – instructional staff, support staff, clerical, custodial, community volunteers and parents to assist each student in reaching their learning goals.

The Holden staff believes that a high achieving and successful school is a place where students, staff and parents are welcomed, treated with respect and learning new interesting/relevant curriculum. All whom enter our school are expected to be learners every day.
History
Sven Holden Elementary School – Dedicated: January 1973 - Sven Holden taught at Warren West School located at Ryan and Chicago Road from 1928 through 1941. In the two room school he taught 5th-10th grades. In 1941, Holden taught junior and senior high students at Warren High School. In 1945 he transferred to South School and was then appointed principal in 1956. Holden was a member of the Committee for Consolidation of the Warren School District and held offices on the Warren Village Council and the Warren Community Council.
